Safe, Supportive & Child-Centred Contact Services Across the UK

At Nurturing Family Connections UK Ltd, we provide a full range of Supervised, Supported, Third-Party and Non-Direct Contact services for families involved in private and public law proceedings.

Our approach is child-centred, trauma-informed, and delivered by trained, safeguarding-aware, DBS-checked staff who prioritise the welfare and emotional security of every child.

We work closely with solicitors, Cafcass officers, local authorities, and the courts to ensure each contact arrangement is safe, appropriate, and tailored to the needs of the family.


Supervised Contact

A safe, structured and closely monitored environment for positive family time.

Supervised Contact provides children with the opportunity to spend meaningful time with family members, while a trained Contact Supervisor remains present throughout.

We offer both centre-based and community-based sessions, depending on what is most appropriate.

Our Contact Supervisors ensure:

  • The child’s emotional and physical safety 
  • Neutral, non-judgemental support 
  • Objective observations where required
  • A calm, reassuring environment
     

Professional Benefit:
Detailed session notes or reports can be provided to solicitors, Cafcass officers, or social workers upon request.


Supported Contact

Light-touch guidance in a relaxed, suitable setting.

Supported Contact allows families to spend time together with a Contact Supervisor available to offer assistance and promote positive interaction, but without close supervision.

Suitable for:

  • Families requiring a small amount of support 
  • Cases where risk is assessed as lower 
  • Contact that benefits from natural interaction
     

Third-Party Handover

A safe, neutral transfer between parents or carers.

This service ensures children can move safely between households without direct contact between adults where this is not appropriate.

We provide:

  • Neutral, consistent handover locations 
  • Professional oversight from a Contact Supervisor 
  • Timely communication with both parties 
  • Clear documentation if requested
     

Non-Direct Contact

Maintaining connection through digital or written communication.

Where face-to-face contact is not possible or appropriate, we offer:

  • Supervised video calls (recorded) 
  • Supported video calls 
  • Email, letter, or message exchanges
  • Third-party monitoring of co-parenting communication apps (AppClose, Our Family Wizard etc.)
     

All communication is handled with professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
